9.10 a.m. Left Queen Street Station by train for the THREE LOCHS TOUR. All hosts and hostesses were invited to take part in this tour as the guests of the visitors from Canada.

Lunch at the Arrochar Hotel.
4.47 p.m. Due back at Queen Street Station, Glasgow.
6.30 p.m. Honorary Organiser's Reception and Farewell Dinner at the Gordon Restaurant for all groups, together with the hosts, hostesses and Glasgow friends.

The final farewell. There were tears but I don't think as a bunch of teenagers most concerned with "why can't we go on the girl's bus?" we really appreciated fully the opportunity Major Ney's dedication gave us.

50 years later may I say again - Thank You.
